Have you ever used a DirtBall? Well, I have. A DirtBall is kind of like a kickball, except you are suppose to get it really dirty and it is sponsored by Kidz Bite Back. It was my turn for the weekend, and I did many things to get it dirty, but here are 3. I played basketball, soccer, and threw it back and forth with my 3-year-old cousin, Elizabeth. I enjoyed the DirtBall and I hope if you haven’t had it yet you will too!
The first thing I did with the DirtBall was basketball. We made abig pile of dirt at the place where the ball went it you shot it through the hoop’s metal ring and tried shooting it through. I was worried it would get stuck, but no! The ball went right through! As a matter of fact, I shot in a gazillion more times and Elizabeth had a blast catching the ball and bringing it back! Her and I knew that the job of playing with this ball was going to be awesome!
The next thing I did with the DirtBall was play soccer. I set up the old blue rusted, netted goal and adjusted the height and stuff. Then Grace came out and joined us in the game. I kicked the ball and then she did. Then Elizabeth stopped the ball and we sighed. Soon, she was a sideline cheerleader. We continued on and soon it was simple. 3-8, I won! Playing DirtBall soccer is a lot better than just the regular game!
Last, Elizabeth and I said goodbye to Grace and I decided I should do something that Elizabeth could do, to. I said slyly, “Hey Elizabeth catch!” I threw the ball high in the air and Elizabeth ran after it. We did this numerous times and I was getting pretty impressed with how dirty the ball was and I was having a great time!
In conclusion, I had a great time with the DirtBall because I got to play basketball, soccer, and spend some time one on one time with my cousin rolling the ball back and forth. I thank Ms. Chattey, and all the other people who helped make this possible. I loved the DirtBall.

My Story about the DirtBall
This weekend me and the dirtball did a lot of things. The things we did this weekend were so fun. I took the DirtBall to my Karate tournament to play around with it. I got it a little dirty there but not much. Then on Sunday we went to the Spring Carnival and there I got it really dirty. It was really fun getting it dirty and then when I got home I finished getting it dirty there is a pile of dirt in my yard and I rolled the ball around in the dirt for about five minutes and then Boom!!! It got sooooo dirty and now I get to show you how dirty I got it. This past weekend I was so happy to take home the DirtBall!

First I played kickball with my friends Isaiah, Jason, Preston, Nicole, Naomi, Victoria, and Lauren. We also played four, three, and two square. So I also beat a record for bouncing the ball 20 times. I played catch and even learned how to catch and throw the ball on the Ripstik. We played volleyball and dodgeball. Sometimes I threw the ball into the air and caught it. I even threw the ball on the wall and caught it. Having the ball and being healthy is awesome.

One time when me and my mom were playing DirtBall we played “kick the ball hard” and even played fetch the ball. When we play DirtBall we play kick the ball hard. I kicked and kicked until my leg hurt. “Ouch” I said. “What happened” mom said. “My leg hurts” I said. “Ok we’re not playing anymore!” mom said. “What! I am ok, I am ok, can we play now, please mom!” I begged. “Gotcha” mom said. “What, not fair!” I said. My mom laughed. “I bet I can beat you mom!” I said. “You can’t” mom said. We played kick the ball hard then I kicked so hard and the ball stopped in the three and mom kicked so hard until it stopped in front of me. “Oh I lose” I said. “Yes, I win!” mom said. “Next time I will win mom” I said. “Oh yea, let’s play another game!” mom said. “Ok” I said. I thought and thought and then it popped into my head, a game called “fetch the ball”. “Yea” mom said. We played fetch and I threw it so hard my mom could not catch it. “Yes” I said to myself. When mom threw the ball at me I caught it. “Yes” I said again to myself. When I looked at my score I had 4 and when mom looked at her score she had 2. “Yes, I win, I win, I win” I shouted loudly. I jumped like a kangaroo jumping and I sang “Yes I win, Yes I win, Yes I win”. I sang loudly. “Ok you win” mom said. “But stop singing that song” mom said. “Ok Ok!” I said. “But I still win right mom?” I said. “Yea” mom said. When we took a break we went inside and I ate a snack of cookies and mile. Yummy! I think to myself that I feel like playing with the DirtBall again.

First I played basketball with it and I got it really dirty and then I played soccer. Then I made up some games with the DirtBall. The last thing I did with the DirtBall was played volleyball with it. It was so fun to have the DirtBall for two days so that’s what I played with the really cool DirtBall! The End!

I had so much fun with my ball. We played soccer, but there was no goal, so we passed it to each other. My baby brother kept taking the ball away. My sister and I saw how far we can kick and run where the ball lands. My father is really good at soccer and we were happy he was playing. My mother is a great sport teacher. We were glad she was there. Instead of doing nothing, we got our hearts pumping.

What I did with my DirtBall was play catch with my neighbors. Also, I sat down on the floor in front of the wall and just rolled it. I played with my dog and he just thought it was a chew toy, but I had fun. I also played in the backyard with it with my dad. We played catch and it was fun.

What I did with my DirtBall these two days was play volleyball with my sister on Wednesday. On Tuesday I played kickball with my friends. At night on Wednesday I started to bounce the ball and catch it in the air. On Tuesday night I went in my backyard and tried to jump over the ball while I was bouncing it. Playing with the DirtBall was fun because you got to play lots of games like kickball, soccer, & volleyball. It was fun and I got a long time to play with my friends and family.

What did I do with the DirtBall? What I did with the DirtBall was play only two games. It was really deflated so I didn’t play very many games. The two games I played were kickball and four-square. For kickball we had about eight people. Four verses four. Unfortunately, my team lost, six to four, a two point difference. Finally, we played four-square with a few of us left to play. We played with met being Ace. I got everybody since I was Ace. Then, somebody got me out. Both four-square and kickball were fun. I still wish I could play more games with the DirtBall.

The way I got my DirtBall dirty was by playing with my friend Gabe. We had a lot of fun. Once I had kicked the ball and I fell in the mud. Sometimes I kicked it so hard it went on his roof, it was awesome! Then once it went in Gabe’s next door neighbor’s backyard and we saw snake it was so much fun!

I started playing volleyball in my backyard with my friends and a few minutes later it started raining. We kind of liked it. My grandparents were inside the house and had no idea it started raining. I was thinking to ask my grandparents if we could play in the rainy weather, but I decided not to. It was so much fun we got soaking wet and the ball got muddy. It was the first time in my life I ever played volleyball in the rain with my friends. We were playing, laughing, screaming, and fighting who will catch the dirty muddy ball. All of a sudden I heard my grandmother screaming “Alexia it’s raining take your friends and go inside”. I smiled and looked at my dirty, muddy ball and saw that it changed from while to a brownish, blackish ball; thank you ball for having so much fun with me!

FootCall
Me, my brother, mom, and dad had fun playing this game. It was very hard because if one person calls the same person’s name twice and kicks the ball toward them then you are out until another person is left. My brother was the one left, because he thinks he is so great.

My Weekend with the DirtBall
When I brought the DirtBall home me, my little brother, and my mom played 3-square in my backyard. Then me and my little brother had to go inside because it was getting dark. Then on Saturday my mom took me, my little brother, and his friends to a park around my neighborhood to play volleyball and had a little get together because it was my mom’s birthday. Then when all of our friends and family left we left too and went home to play 3-square again in our backyard until it was time to go inside. Then on Sunday me and my little brother went down the street to play basketball until it was time to go home.

With the DirtBall I played some games with it like basketball. When I played basketball, I slam dunked and I played HORSE with my sister. I won with H-O and my sis got HORSE! Afterwards I played a game called “Spud” with my family and friends. The object of “Spud” is for everyone to have a # (number). There has to be 5 players, I was # 3. One person had to take the ball and throw it up and yell one # that is 1,2,3,4, or 5. My brother (#5) called #4, my friend Faith ran to catch the ball while everyone else ran as far as they could. Faith caught the ball and yelled “SPUD”! We all stopped, Faith took 3 giant steps toward my sis and got her out by touching her with the ball. Soon after my brother Sam won and that was what I did with the DirtBall!

The DirtBall
I did about three things with the DirtBall. The first thing I did was take it to my day-care. We had a lot of fun throwing it around and bouncing it to the ceiling. When I was at the day-care, me and my friend invented a game called “Order Up!” It’s where we take the lids of the toy bins and pretend they’re plates, and we pretend the ball is a meat-ball. We throw it around using the lids and when someone drops it, they’re “fired”. Another thing I did with the ball is play with it with my brother Savi. We play regular catch and another game we call “earthquake.” It’s when you bounce it around my house whenever I had the time. If I were watching TV, I would bounce it. If I were talking on the phone, I would bounce it. Those are the three things I did when I had the DirtBall.
