Graham Elementary School Dirtball stories

March 12, 2010
"When I took the kid’s bite back dirt ball I was happy. I asked my brother if he wanted to play kick ball. I was so excited! My teacher said we had to get it dirty and take a picture with it. I got the ball so dirty that I had to put it in a bag but first I took a picture. The next day I took it to school. My teacher said I got it real dirty."

"When I took the Dirt ball home I was excited because it was my first time to take it out to play with it. So I took it home and played a kick ball game, and then dodge ball, and basketball. I got it dirty like it was filthy dirty. That’s the dirty I’m talking about. And then everyone wanted to play with it and that pretty much is all I did with it."

“Yay!” I said when it was my turn to take the dirtball home. After post (because I’m a patrol), I zoomed home with my little brother. I waited for my family to get home so we could go play. I was playing catch and roll ball with my brother while they came home. At last, my family came home and I enthusiastically exclaimed “Can we go to the park? I want to play basketball.” We all glanced at my mom and she said sure. We all jumped up and packed our things and let’s go!

"When I had the dirt ball I had a lot of fun with it. I played four square and dodge ball and all sorts of things just to get it dirty. Cause it’s a dirt ball. Cause you have to get it dirty. Then I had started bouncing it in the dirt to get it dirty and rolling it and scraping it in the dirt. And I had made a castle with it by placing a lot of dirt on top of it. Then I took the ball from under it. But I had fun with the dirt ball (might not want to see me again)."
